Section titled “Ignecarus”Ignecarus is a giant dragon boss. Fire resistance is the most important aspect of the fight, as regular potions are destroyed by the heat — Heat Resistant Potions must be used instead.

You have a base death chance of 95%. This is reduced to 47.5% with full Dwarven armour and further reduced to 14.5% with a Dragonfire shield.
Torva can be used as a substitute for Dwarven armour, but death chance will be higher without the fire protection.
Rewards
Section titled “Rewards”Ignecarus drops large quantities of metal bars, uncut gems, and rune items.

105 to equip. - Ignecarus scales – Used with Abyssal dragon bones to create Dragon's fury potion (2 scales + 1 Abyssal dragon bones per potion). Can also be used to create Hellfire Arrows (1 scale + 1 headless arrow → 5 arrows).
- Ignecarus dragonclaw – Used with Dragon's fury, Twisted bow, Zaryte bow, and 3 Smouldering stones to create a Hellfire Bow.
- Dragon egg – Can be placed in a nursery to hatch into a dragon tame. Eggs are tradeable, but cannot be retrieved or traded once placed in a nursery.
